McNeese Cowgirls Open WBIT Play Tonight at Texas A&M
College Station, Texas (KNGT-FM) - It will be a busy day for McNeese Basketball. Tonight, the McNeese women will play postseason basketball for the first time since 2016, as the Cowgirls open up WBIT play against Texas A&M in College Station.
It’s not the postseason tournament Coach Guzzardo wants, but ultimately, for the McNeese program, it is absolutely a step in the right direction.

Both teams hoped to be playing in the NCAA Tournament this week. But after losing in their conference tournaments, they were left out.
The Cowgirls have had one of the best seasons in school history. They are 28-5 and won 21 games in a row before falling to Stephen F. Austin in the Southland Conference title game. McNeese made the WBIT by winning the regular-season championship.
