Memorial Day Weekend: Concerts & Events In Lake Charles & SWLA
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - The unofficial start of Summer begins this weekend, and we get set for the Memorial Day holiday. Most folks will have a three-day weekend starting when they get off work on Friday.
Most of you will be looking to make plans to get out of the house and do something fun on your long weekend off. So what to do? What's going on around the area? We took a look around for you, and this is what we have found going on in the Lake Area.
Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners will be live at Jellystone RV Park and Resort on Saturday night. They will be performing under the pavilion at the park starting at 7:00 pm. There are tons of activities planned for the weekend at Jellystone. Check it out on their website here.

The Masters of Illusion show is coming to Lake Charles this Saturday night, May 23rd. The show is from the hit CW television series and is also America’s largest touring magic show. They will be live inside the Grand Event Center at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles.
The final Downtown at Sundown concert series will finish this year's four-week run this Friday night, May 22nd, featuring Infinite Bus, Louisiana Surf Department, and the After Glow Show with DJ Secret Stache. The show runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and takes place in downtown Lake Charles at 1001 Ryan Street.
Dani Lacour and her band will make a return to Panorama Music House in Lake Charles this Friday night, May 22nd. She will be performing music from her latest album, "In My Rearview". Panorama is located at 331 Broad Street in downtown Lake Charles. The doors open at 7:00 pm, and you have to be 21 or older to enter.
