About Rum Revival Festival
Rum Revival started in 2022 and celebrates the Gulf Coast’s connection to Caribbean culture. From sugarcane to seafood, the region shares many traditions with the islands.
Guests will be able to try dozens of rums and tequilas from around the world. There will also be handmade cocktails created by talented bartenders. Food is a big part of the event too, with local chefs serving Caribbean-style dishes full of bold flavor.
Before the big event, local bars and restaurants are taking part in a citywide cocktail contest. Bartenders are creating their own drinks using rum or tequila. You can visit participating locations, try the drinks, and vote for your favorite by scanning a QR code. At the end, one drink will be named the People’s Choice Winner.

The Rum Revival Grand Tasting Festival will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles. The event runs from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is the main attraction of Rum Revival, bringing together people who enjoy drinks, food, and live entertainment.
Tickets for the Grand Tasting start at $133.50, and guests are encouraged to dress in tropical attire.
