[Lake Charles. La] We are less than 100 days away from the 2025 McNeese Football season kickoff. There will be a lot of firsts for the upcoming season. The Pokes have a brand new head coach for the upcoming season, and for Cowboy fans, it's a familiar face. Head Coach Matt Viator has returned to take over the program after seeing success with the Pokes in his first tenure.

Something else that will be new this season is a brand new state-of-the-art press box and luxury suites. The previous press box was damaged heavily back in 2020 by hurricanes Laura and Delta. Since then, Cowboys Stadium has been left with no press box for the past five seasons until now.

The Vice President and Athletic Director of McNeese, Heath Schroyer, took to social media and posted on the McNeese Sports Facebook page. He wanted to give fans an update on the progress of the new press box and also give fans a video tour of the facility. Schroyer explains and shows you the press box area, the state-of-the-art facilities, and you also get a first look inside the suites and amenities.
