Wayne Toups Coming to Jellystone Lake Charles (September 19th)

Lake Charles, Louisiana - It's never too early to look ahead to the weekend, and this weekend Louisiana legend Wayne Toups is back in Southwest Louisiana and will be live at Jellystone RV Park in Lake Charles as a part of their Black Pot Cook-off event.

Wayne Toups, A True Louisiana Legend

Wayne Toups is one of the biggest names in Cajun music. Born in Crowley, Louisiana, he picked up the accordion at 13 and really, the rest is history. He created his own style called “Zydecajun,” mixing Cajun music with zydeco, country, rock, and R&B.

Wayne has released music, toured and played with stars like Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, and George Jones. He has also won a Grammy Award and is a member of several Louisiana music halls of fame.

Some of the best Wayne Toups songs include "Two Step Mamou,""Tupelo Honey," "Take My Hand," "Please Explain," and many others.

Wayne will be live this weekend at Jellystone RV Park in Lake Charles. If you haven't been out to Jellystone since they reopened a few years ago, you're truly missing out.
