New Movies Showing In Lake Charles Theaters This Weekend:

1. Ordinary Angels (PG)

Based on a remarkable true story, ORDINARY ANGELS centers on Sharon Steves (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.

2. Kung Fu Panda [2008] (PG) - Showing only at the Prien Lake Mall Location

Prepare for awesomeness with this delightful DreamWorks Animation film. Jack Black is the voice of Po, a noodle-slurping dreamer who must embrace his true self-fuzzy flaws and all-in order to become the real Dragon Warrior. Filled with high-kicking humor, groundbreaking animation, and an all-star cast including Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Jackie Chan and Dustin Hoffman.

3. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training (R)

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- will show Episode 11 from the Swordsmith Village Arc, featuring the conclusion to the fierce battle between Tanjiro and Upper Four, Hantengu, and Nezuko’s triumph over the sun, in theaters for the first time. It’s followed by Episode 1 of the Hashira Training Arc, featuring the beginning of the training conducted by the Hashira in preparation for the forthcoming final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, also being shown for the first time.

4. Drive-Away Dolls (R) - Showing only at the Prien Lake Mall Location

In search of a fresh start, two women embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, Fla. However, things quickly go awry when they cross paths with a group of inept criminals along the way.
