We all believe that we're protected from extreme violence from our enemies around the world because of the oceans that surround us. However, with our unsecure border with Mexico, anything can make it across, including nuclear bombs.
Look, I'm not saying that a nuclear attack will ever happen on US soil, and I'm not even saying that we should live in fear everyday of something like this happening, all I'm saying is the possibility is always there.
MSN recently revealed the top 15 cities in the USA that are likely targets for a nuclear attack. Low and behold, three Texas cities made the list.

MSN took into consideration factors like population density, proximity to a military facility, emergency preparedness, and how easy it is to evacuate the city to make their list.
The three Texas cities that are most likely a target for nuclear attack are only 20 miles apart and are home to over six million residents. They are also in close proximity to the South Texas Project Nuclear Generating Station. MSN estimates there would be 330,850 deaths and 693,340 injuries as a result of a nuclear attack on this area of Texas.
