Jamie Foxx Fends off Attacker at Hollywood Restaurant

You can run up on Jamie Foxx if you want to, but be prepared to suffer the consequences.   A Hollywood restaurant patron found this out the hard way and ended up in a choke hold.

The famed actor/comedian/singer was out on the town with some friends at a West Hollywood restaurant when someone physically attacked him.

According to TMZ, Foxx was with friends on the patio of Catch restaurant when a man approached the group to complain they were too loud.  A witness said the man told the group "You don't want to mess with me. I'm from New York,” to which another comedian at the table rebutted “F*** you I’m from Oakland.”

The man then reportedly “lunged” at Foxx, making contact and "pulling him down onto a table.” That’s when the actor reportedly turned around and put the man in a choke hold until security came.

The unruly patron was kicked out of the restaurant.
