Janet Jackson Announces She's Pregnant? Unbreakable Tour Canceled For Good

Today in Tha Wire, nobody was looking forward to seeing Janet Jackson's Unbreakable World Tour in Lafayette more than me. The second leg was finally re-scheduled for Saturday May 28 at the Cajun Dome. Please know me an my girls had our spot reserved and gearing up to scoop up our tickets. Needless to say, I'm glad we didn't buy them cause we'd be going through the whole refund process right now.

This morning at about 5 a.m. CT, Janet announced on Twitter the second leg of the tour is going to be put on hold till further notice. All 29 dates are CANCELLED!! By the way, her U.S. fans are the only ones missing out. According to reports a month ago, Jackson's remaining European dates were suddenly removed from Ticketmaster and canceled.

As for her GOOD NEWS, it looks like it's going to be at least a year or better, before she'll be coming back to perform this way or anywhere else. This morning the 49-year old music icon said she wanted her fans to hear first hand that she and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, are planning a family!!!!

I'm not sure if Mrs. Jackson is already pregnant or trying to get pregnant, because as you see she didn't exactly say. However no performing or traveling per doctors orders, leads me to believe it's possible that she's pregnant already. Though Janet has always been in superb shape, the fact still remains she's 49-years old and pregnancy for any woman at that age is going to be high risk.

So whether she's currently pregnant or trying to be, it's totally understandable and necessary that she take it super easy in order have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Then you never know, she may not be having the baby at all. It's also just as possible that she may have a suffragette mother type situation and she just wants to monitor and be involved with the process as much as she can.

Whatever the case I know one thing, she's in CONTROL. As disappointed as I am that she's cancelled the tour...I am truly happy for her and her husband and wish them the very, very best! When she's ready, I'm sure she'll disclose more details.
