Jermaine Dupri Getting Sued Left And Right – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire Jermaine Dupri juggles 3 lawsuits, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood's Mally Mal is dealing with the FBI and Rich Homie Quan's father is shot 4 times.

As of late Jermaine Dupri has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.  The So So Deff founder has at least 3 lawsuits against him.  AllHipHop reports his former business partner Eddie Weathers is suing him for $1 million, claiming JD owes him 50% of profits from a merger deal.

Then there’s a $2 million lawsuit filed in 2013 by SunTrust Bank, over a balance from a loan.  In that suit, AllHipHop reports the producer/label head is being accused of owing the institution $1.9 million from a $5 million loan issued in 2009.  In response JD some papers of his own.

Now comes word he’s being sued be his alleged former assistant Taddrick Mingo.  According to TMZ, Mingo is suing Dupri for loss of income, damages, and attorney fees.  In addition, the former employee claims he’s worked more than 65 hours from 2010-2014 and hasn’t been compensated.   Jermaine Dupri isn’t taking this one laying down either and filed a counter suit, claiming he never hired Mingo, he was just an associate that lived off him.

In other news, Producer and Love and Hip Hop Hollywood star Jamal “Mally Mal” Rashid is having some major problems with the FBI.  The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that Rashid’s Las Vegas Valley house and his Las Vegas Concierge escort service is being investigated by the FBI’s public corruption squad, supposedly for human trafficking.

While no arrests have been made yet, witnesses told the Journal, a police helicopter landed in the reality stars front yard, while an FBI armored truck knocked down the front gate to his crib.  AllHipHop reports, Clark County animal control officers were on hand as well as.  Crazy right?  Well learn more below with Tha Wire.

Finally, Rich Homie Quan’s father was shot several times this morning and is in critical condition at an Atlanta hospital.   TMZ reports, Corey Lamar was the victim of an apparent robbery attempt and was four times inside his barber.  This is the second time Lamar’s shop has been held up in the last month.

BET reports a witness told authorities there was one gunman and that Mr. Lamar tried to chase the thug down the street adding, “I heard about three gunshots, and so I saw the guy come out.  He got in a black car, and that's all I know from there.”
