Kendu Isaacs Sue's Mary, Claims She Used Their Divorce To Make Mo

Today in Tha Wire, Mary J. Blige's ex and former manager, Kendu Isaacs is asking for MORE money! I guess 30K a month in spousal support isn't enough for him to the ends meet. The legal battle between the two was long and fierce, and very much over money. After 12-years of marriage Mary filed for divorce in July 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. The iconic singer found out Kendu had been cheating on her, and spending her money to take the other woman on expensive trips. People reports he spent more than $420,000 before Mary found out what was going on. To cover his trail, Isaacs was padding the books, and logged the expenditures as "travel charges."

Mary sat down with the Daily Mail, to talk about hows she's been coping with everything. She said,

'I’m doing OK. I’m living,' the Not Gon' Cry. She continued, 'I’m not happy about a lot of things. I thought someone loved me, right? Turns out, he was a con artist and he didn’t, and now he’s coming after me for all my money." She said, 'When you come out of something like that, you realize you were never the one. There was someone else that was his queen. I got played. I got suckered. I have to keep smiling and keep my spirits up because this is designed to kill me.'

It's been an uphill battle for the Queen of Hip Hop Soul. As previously reported Isaacs sued her for spousal support among other things. His defense was he was her manager, and when they split he basically lost his job. He claimed he had no other means of supporting himself. He then asked the court to award him and unbelievable $129,319 in spousal support. According to VIBE the break down on that dollar amount went a little something like this:

*$5,000 to help with his aging parents

*$4, 971 to support his two children from a previous relationship

*$60,000 to help him catch up his rent

*$1,200 for dining out expenses

*1,723 for groceries and other miscellaneous things

TMZ reports while he didn't get what he wanted, but amazingly the court actually sympathized with him. The judge ruled the songstress should have to pay him something, because of the lifestyle he had grown accustomed to living. In June this year Mary was ordered to pay a reported retroactive spousal support starting with September 2016, to the tune of 30,000 a month. She also had to pay Isaacs court fees of $235,000.

Now he's back, and suing for even more money. Isaacs is accusing Mary of using their divorce as a platform to release music. In spite of all the money she already pays him, Isaacs claims he's on the verge of becoming destitute. According to court docs obtained by The Blast, Isaacs is blaming his unemployment on the singer. He claims her album, Strength of A Women, hindering him from getting a job. In addition Isaacs seems to think she's profiting off their divorce, by blasting him in her music. Pointing out that the songs“Love Yourself,” and “Set Me Free,” are "divorce songs" and about him. So he feels that he should be compensated, as their split has caused a surge in her career.

He says he needs more money from Blige just to survive, so he asking for $65,000 per. Wtf? Well fam that's the end on that. I will defiantly keep you posted.
