Listen to a New Kevin Gates Song “No Love”

Kevin Gates is currently locked up in Illinois for weapons charges, but that isn't stopping him from releasing new music. On Thursday (July 20), he released a brand new song called "No Love," the first taste of new music we've got from the brilliant Baton Rouge rapper since he released "What If" back in April. Listen to the latest track, produced by Millz, below. It's currently on Spotify and should be hitting iTunes some time tonight.

In late April, Gates was sentenced to 30 months in jail for felony gun possession, but just last week, his wife and business partner Dreka Gates have fans some good news about new music from Gates.

“BTW working on Kevin’s new project right now and I’m not going to lie, I’m nervous as F b/c I’m not getting any input from him & he’s fully entrusted me w/everything so there’s a lot of pressure!” she wrote. “I respect real artists and their artistry and to be making ALL of the decisions is scary but rest assured the music is always fire as F!”

Hopefully that means we're getting a new project from the Louisiana MC soon. Islah is still one of the best major label debuts we've heard in years.
