Kodak Black Receives GED Tutoring in Prison
Kodak Black has a lot on his plate while he's currently behind bars, but he's not going to let that stop him from progressing his education. According to TMZ, a judge has granted the Pompano Beach rapper access to a tutor in prison, who will help him as he prepares to take his GED test.
While requesting for a tutor to come visit him in the Florida prison, Kodak's legal team also requested that he have access to a computer for his continued studies. We have yet to find out if the judge will allow that, but it's certainly a good sign that he is at least able to meet with a tutor.
Things are looking up for the "Tunnel Vision" entertainer this week, as reports on Monday (March 19) revealed that he was released from solitary confinement. He was previously sentenced to 30 days in solitary after he went against the rules and made a three-way call inside the institution.
Fans were a bit confused following his solitary release when Kodak tweeted that he was "fresh out the bing" after claiming that Chris Brown put $10,000 on his books. While his supporters thought that he had been released from prison entirely, that isn't the case, as Black has been put back into general population.
We'll keep you updated on Kodak Black's case as it moves forward. He is currently due back in court on May 3 regarding his two remaining charges from his Jan. 18 arrest.
