Lake Charles, La. - Local Chef Lyle Broussard is among the state's best competing for the title of best Seafood Chef in Louisiana.

Broussard is an award winning chef from SWLA who works for Jack Daniel's Bar & Grill at L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles where he "oversees all culinary operations and menu development for the restaurant and bar," said the American Press. He's one of 12 chefs from across the state competing for the 10th annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-off, taking place on June 20 at the Lafayette Cajundome Convention Center.
