Louis Farrakhan Organizing Second Million Man March

This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the first Million Man March, which took place on October 16, 1995. The march was lead by Minister Louis Farrakhan and was a "call to action" for black men to take their place in the family and accept responsibility. The historic event took place at the U.S. Capitol with guest speakers to include Martin Luther King III, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Reverend Benjamin Chavis, and late Maya Angelou among others.

AllHipHop reports sitting down with The Breakfast Club (BC), Minister Farrakhan recently revealed he's organizing a second Million Man March to commemorate the upcoming anniversary. Farrakhan had quite a bit to say about the first march and why there's a need for a second. The upcoming return to DC with Million 2, is in direct response to the alarming murder rate of unarmed African American men by police in the country, blatant injustice of the nations justice system, among other race related issues.
