Louisiana native and Actress Natalie Desselle Dies from Cancer

I remember seeing Natalie Desselle for the first time as the overly aggressive sister of Bill Bellamy in the movie How To Be A Player. She would later star alongside Halle Berry in B.A.P.S and had a nice run in the hit series EVE starring rapper EVE.

That is why I am sad to report that the actress passed away today at the age of 53 after being diagnosed earlier this year with Colon Cancer. As with the news from Actor Chadwick Boseman, this came as a complete shock to many in the industry. She decided to keep the news from the media and was surrounded by family during her last moments.

Just when we thought that we'd be able to end this rough year with no more sad stories. This was popped up today and I truly don't know how to feel. She was a young soul who still had so much to give to the industry and I am sure that she will be missed by many who loved her spunky ways and the way she nailed it. Our deepest condolences go out to her family during this time.
