LSU Stays Put While Texas Moves Up In Polls On Heels Of Big Game

The LSU Football team impressed fans and the sports world with their impressive 55-3 win over Georgia Southern last Saturday. What most are talking about is the new look offense from LSU.

The Tigers are set for a primetime, nationally televised match up with the Texas Longhorns this Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The AP and Coaches college football polls came out yesterday. LSU started the season at #6 in both polls and after week one, they stayed put at #6. The Texas Longhorns, who LSU will face this Saturday, moved up in both polls from #10 to #9.

The scene is set for an early-season top ten match-up. LSU and Texas square off this Saturday, September 7th, 2019 in Austin. The game will be televised nationally on ABC at 6:30pm.
