After more than thirty years in the game, Madonna can still stir up tha drama. Over the weekend Madge caused a frenzy on Instagram when she posted a photo of her 13-year-old son, Rocco and proceeded to call him the N word.

The caption: "No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disn----." In the photo, Rocco is punching an opponent in a boxing ring.

The response was immediate as the post got more than 18,000 hits.  The conversation between fans was kinda interesting and I’ll include some of those comments like:

thehausoffrilloux @bruce____banner "don't quote me. Plus, you're white. You will never know what it's like to live in a black persons shoes on a daily basis. I on the other hand DO how ? B/c I am BLACK. I see nothing offensive about the joke she made. I thought it was funny TBH. I love you Madge & will continue to support everything you do f--- the haters! & bye Bruce, her daughter is black..."

bruce____banner @thehausoffrilloux "I don't but I'm way more empathetic then your self hating a--. Every other black person agreed. You are part of the problem, and that's why the disrespect will continue. #selfhate"

In the meantime, fans pretty much went back and forth over the appropriateness of her hashtag and whether or not she is racist. What do you think?  Let us know at 107jamz.com/Facebook/Twitter page.

As no surprise Madonna fired back at the nay-sayers and posted the caption: "Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d--- haters!" Then later apologized to anyone offended by her remarks saying:

"Forgive me. I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur. I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention.  It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white.  I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression."

By the way earlier this month, she caused another firestorm when she posted a photo of Rocco and a couple of his friends with bottles of liquor.  Her reaction? "No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgment!"

Finally, Billboard.com has confirmed power couple Jay Z and Beyoncè will perform together on music’s biggest night.  The 2014 Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, January 26 live from L.A. and guarantee’s to be full of excitement.  Both Jay and Bey spent most of 2013 touring separately, and the upcoming Grammy performance will be Bey's first since dropping her surprise self-titled last month.

As far as awards, I’m not sure if Beyonce is up for any, however Jay has nine nominations including Album of the Year for Magna Carta Holy Grail.  Ironically, 15 years ago, a shocked Lauryn Hill won that same award for "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and said "This is crazy because this is hip-hop music!" L-Boogie won a total of five Grammys that night.

Of course there is a gang of other big names performing at this years Grammy Awards and I got all the details inside Tha Wire.  Press play now and get the scoop.
