I think everyone will agree, door wreaths are beautiful. They aren't cheap either! Some folks are crafty and make their own year after year. Unfortunately, I am not one of those people. I was invited to a wreath-making event and had a ball. Problem was, I didn't buy the correct door wreath form like the one below. So, the other ladies made some really awesome holiday works of art for their doors.

I bought a funeral wreath form. A plan wireframe, and as a result my wreath was not full. Mind you, if you have the skills a plan wire wreath form is fine. It just wasn't the right wreath form for me, because I haven't been able to tap into my inner Martha Stewart yet. I also didn't buy the proper greenery to build my wireframe up. If I knew to do that, the outcome would have come out a lot differently. Not gonna go as far as to say, it would've looked like those above, but it sure would have been better than what I ended up with. So, I kinda figured my wreath was not gonna look like the others. An I was right! It was a hot mess because it was super skinny! The good news...I know where I went wrong and I'll be ready next time.
