Mary J. Blige Ordered to Pay Estranged Husband $30,000 in Temporary Spousal Support
Mary J. Blige’s husband, Martin Kendu Isaacs may have sent her through the ringer during their marriage, but she will still have to pay up says a judge.
According to TMZ, the “Love Yourself” singer will have to fork over $30,000 a month of temporary spousal support to her estranged husband. It’s less than what he requested in comparison to the reported $129,319 he asked a judge to grant him.
The court reportedly found that Isaacs was entitled to money to "accommodate the standard of living was used to while married to Mary," but also decided he was nuts in thinking he would get his “dream number.” Not in those words, but in a nutshell.
Get this, Mary has to pay “retroactive spousal support dating back to September,” as well as Isaacs attorney fees. So, she’s still has to fork over $235,000. Sheesh.
The court also poured salt on an open wound telling the couple they were “living beyond their means” and still owe millions in back taxes, because uncle Sam doesn’t play about his coins!
