Megan Thee Stallion reportedly had a bit of an obstacle to overcome when shooting the video to "Hot Girl Summer" with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.

According to a new report TMZ published on Wednesday (Aug. 14), the Los Angeles Police Department crashed the set of the video in Los Angeles on Friday after they received a complaint. Upon their arrival, they found that the 2019 XXL Freshman's team didn't have the proper permits to shoot at the house they were at so they shut it down despite everyone being fully in costume and ready to shoot.

Luckily, the production team was able to secure another location about 50 miles East of L.A. and production resumed the same night. According to the report, nothing was delayed in the end and the video is reportedly set to come out on schedule.

As for what to expect from the video, we don't know much as of yet—but the report does note there will be some "wild animal cameos."

In related news, Megan recently filed to trademark her “Hot Girl Summer” catchphrase. According to the documents she filed on July 10, the phrase will be used on apparel like “Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; A-shirts; Body shirts; Dress shirts; Graphic T-shirts; Hooded sweatshirts; Long-sleeved shirts; open-necked shirts; Over shirts; Short-sleeve shirts; Sleep shirts; Sport shirts; Sports shirts; Sweatshirts; T-shirts; Tee shirts; Tee-shirts; Turtle neck shirts; Yoga shirts.”
