It seems that there is just alot of sad news of people dying in the entertainment world. We are very sad to report the passing of a very familiar face to die hard fans of the movie "Road Trip".

Mia Amber Davis, a model best known for her role in the 2000 comedy "Road Trip" has died a day after undergoing routine knee surgery. She was 36. Plus Model Magazine, where Davis was an editor, made the announcement on their blog on Wednesday. "Mia was a super model and industry leader because it was her love for the women she represented that kept pushing her when the industry itself did not embrace her ... Today we lost our dear friend, plus size model, industry leader and colleague but we have one more heavenly angel watching over us." The exact cause of Davis' death is unknown, but her agent tells E! News that it was the result of complications from her knee surgery (for an old college basketball injury), which she had on Monday, a day before her passing. Her husband, Michael Yard, who was in New York at the time, tells TMZ that he spoke to Davis the day of her death and she sounded fine. But soon after, she complained of dizziness and a cousin took her to the hospital. "I want to know what happened to my wife," Yard added.

An autopsy is expected this week.

Hopefully they can find out the reason if there is one behind the passing of Mia. More details to come soon.
