Our condolences to Lauryn Hill fans on the eastern seaboard. The "Ex-Factor" singer has canceled seven East Coast performances on her current tour.

Shows scheduled tonight (July 25) in Charlotte, N.C., tomorrow night (July 26) in Raleigh, N.C., July 29 in St. Petersburg, Fla., Aug. 2 in Jacksonville, Fla., Aug. 8 in Holmdel, N.J., Aug. 16 in Virginia Beach, Va. and Aug. 17 in Bristow, Va. were nixed. Hill also postponed her Nashville show to Oct. 11, her Atlanta show to Oct. 13 and her Miami show to Oct. 15.

In a Facebook post, Live Nation attributed the North Carolina cancelations to "unforeseen production issues." It's unclear why three shows were postponed. We've reached out to Live Nation for comment and will update when we hear back.

L. Boogie kicked off the tour, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of her first solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, earlier this month. She recruited a stacked roster of artists to join as supporting acts including Nas, A$AP Rocky and M.I.A.

All three postponed shows were previously scheduled to feature Big Boi as a supporting act. The Atlanta and Miami shows were also set to feature De La Soul, among others. Previously purchased tickets will be honored and refunds are available.

The reclusive Ms. Hill returned to the top of the Hot 100 in April as a sampled vocalist in Drake's song "Nice For What." She remixed the track at a New York show in May.
