Monica has been missing from the spotlight, but for good reason.  TheBoomBox reports the ATL songstress has fulfilled a lifetime dream to be a nurse.  Monica is 20 years deep in the music biz, so she definently has nothing to prove.  However, looks like she wanted to prove something to herself….she can be a nurse.

To confirm the good news, she took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself rocking some cute hospital scrubs and revealed to fans, what she’s been doing in her spare time.

“I have other dreams and aspirations so I Pursue them when my babies are asleep & my musics done!!,” she shared with her fans, pointing to the fact that she may be taking classes or moonlighting as a nurse. “Moral of the story #WeCanIfWeBelieve never give up on your dreams #YOUCAN #BeenAtWorkSince7yesterday #ThankGODforMyMomAndPa #ScrubsAndAMandatoryThermal #DatHawkBITIN LOL#UKnowItsColdWhenIGetThisPale LOL.”

Congratulations and all the best!  By the way, music is still very much a big part of her life.  Learn more below inside Tha Wire.
