After initially having to pay Kelis over $40,000 a month in Child Support payments for only one child. Nas is finally getting a little relief without the help of Tums. Even with Diddy having 3 different baby mamas, he still had a better break then Nas. Here's the latest details on the good news for Nas, and not so good for Kelis.
The child support and spousal payment arrangement between Grammy-nominated rapper Nas and ex-wife Kelis has been changed, as the Queens native is now required to pay half of the amount he was initially ordered to by a judge.Details on Nas' court victory emerged online Friday January 7. Nas just had his child and spousal support obligations sliced in half, but he still has to pay ex-wife Kelis a pretty penny . According to legal docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Nas must now pay a tad over $5,000 a month in child support and $20,000 a month in spousal support. It sounds like a lot, but Nas was paying twice that until he convinced the judge the bad economy has even hit the rap biz hard. So this month, Nas pockets an extra $25k for himself.
Maybe now Nas can get back to being the God Son that we all knew
he was. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a man paying and taking care of his child, but man I think Nas may finally be catching a little break this time around.
