Everyone knows that I represent Mississippi to the fullest. Of course being from a small area called Meridian, we are sandwiched in between all meccas of hip hop. Radio back in the day was very diverse and we listened to hip hop from Public Enemy to the west coast with NWA. But when we came back home down south, we had a little bit of everything.

One of the groups that I used to love was 3-6 Mafia. These guys were crunk before the word even existed and had a following that was unprecedented back then. While the group went through alot of changes. Some of the standout members were of course Juicy J, DJ Paul, Gangsta Boo, Crunchy Black, Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca. Well believe it or not two years ago Lord Infamous passed away. He was the half brother of DJ Paul and died at the dinner table of his mothers house. This was a shock to alot of fans across the world.

Unfortunately over the weekend, we lost another member of the group and this member is Koopsta Knicca, he actually passed away from complications from a stroke. He was only 40 years old and again this was another surprise to the fans. People are now calling for all of the remaining members of 3-6 Mafia to come back together and try to recreate the music that made them famous. This should also bring awareness to being healthy while out hear living on the road. I have talked about this before and it's a shame that alot of these young men are dying at such a young age. R.I.P to Koopsta and let's take a trip down memory lane with a few classic videos that he was apart of.
