It's been a huge year so far for Rae Sremmurd, as the hip-hop duo has put a lot of number on the boards in the past 12 months alone. While they're still reaping the rewards of their hard work on SremmLife 2 and Swae Lee's feature on "Unforgettable," the rap stars are already gearing up for SremmLife 3.

The pair performed at the 2017 Wireless Festival in the United Kingdom this past weekend, where they were able to do a backstage interview with Tim Westwood. The English music journalist spoke with both Swae Lee and Slim Jimmi separately following their performance, where they spoke on their future plans for the year. Lee not only confirmed that he has his solo project on the way, but SremmLife 3 is coming soon as well.

"Man, we got 'Unforgettable' going crazy right now. I got a whole album full of songs like that." Lee tells Westwood. "We got a whole SremmLife 3 next project coming soon. We about done with that already. About to wrap it up."

Westwood also asked Slim Jimmi about the group's third studio album, but he didn't want to give any details away.

"SremmLife 3...I want to give y'all the info, but I can't right now," Jimmi explains.

Last year was a big year for the rap group, as they landed their first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their "Black Beatles" single.
