Russell Westbrook Now Has Largest Contract in NBA History, $233 Million
Russell Westbrook just made history by signing an extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder that will earn him $233 million over a six years. It’s now the biggest contract in NBA history. The NBA superstar reportedly signed an five-year extension deal for $205 million.
Though it was certain that Westbrook would stay in OKC, he had been reportedly mulling over the deal during the offseason.
Congrats go out to the NBA MVP, especially with OKC’s acquisition of Paul George and Caremlo Anthony, the 2017-2017 season will be interesting to say the least.
