Safaree Samuels And Erica Mena Announce They’re Expecting

Some would say the cat was already outta the bag, but in case you don't keep up with the latest haps surrounding Love & Hip Hop New York reality stars Safaree and Erica Mena are expecting. The couple pulled off their big reveal Tuesday this week during a Bonnie & Clyde themed photo shoot for VH1. HipHollywood reports the network released a video of the shoot as the TV stars talked about the excitement of having their first child together.

Don't be surprised if they end up with their own spin-off, like Remy and Pap. Meanwhile, it's was already assumed that Erica was expecting given her wardrobe went from fitted, to flowing over the last few months. By the way. she is well into her pregnancy. Judging from the size of her baby mountain, she appears to be at least 5 to 8 months.

This will be Mena's second child. The 31-year old singer/reality star has a 12-year son named King, from a previous relationship. On the other hand, this will be Safaree's first child and he doesn't mind saying he's a little anxious about the whole thing. The 38-year old rapper said,

“I’m nervous. I’m in shock. I’m in disbelief. It’s very surreal to me. I don’t know what to do but I know I’m going to be great at what I do because I’m great at everything.”

 

The couple has been dating since November 2018, but it didn't take Safaree long to fall head over heels. He popped the question the following month on Christmas Eve, and Mena said yes. Now comes word they plan of jumping the broom before their baby is born. If the news is accurate, Safaree and Erica will be husband and wife sometime next week in an undisclosed location. Of course VH1 cameras will be rolling, so fans will get all the highlights from the nuptials on the show.
