Singer Lloyd Drops by the Breakfast Club to Discuss New Music, and More

Lloyd is back, and this time he’s doing things on his terms.

The “Tru” singer dropped by The Breakfast Club bearing gifts for the crew, especially Angela Yee who shares the same birthday as him. They talked about the difference in his buzz as an independent artists, versus when he was formerly an artist signed to Def Jam and Murda Inc. Lloyd also talked about taking time off to spend time with his family, and being financially stable enough not to be returning to music because he needed the money. Lloyd even references his Louisiana roots, and losing his father at a young age when he was murdered in New Orleans.
