Snoop Dogg Announces Upcoming Album Title, Debuts New Song ‘Fireworks’
Snoop Dogg is bringing some refreshments this summer. The hip-hop vet has announced the title of his upcoming album and it’s called Cool Aid.
On Thursday (June 2), the Doggfather appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss the project. Of course, the title is an obvious nod to the popular sugary drink that moms often make in the ‘hood. It appears that Snoop already has the album cover art ready as well, which looks similar to the artwork done on his previous albums like Doggystyle and The Last Meal.
Along with the new album title, Snoop Dogg also debuted a new track on the show called "Fireworks." Produced by Swizz Beatz, the song is a summery jam that's perfect for your next backyard party playlist.
Last month Snoop premiered his Mike WiLL Made It-produced banger, “Late Nights.”
It’s been twenty years since Snoop released his debut album, Doggystyle. But the Long Beach rapper released a steady stream of albums including last year’s Bush, which was exclusively produced by Pharrell Williams.
Snoop Dogg's Cool Aid album will arrive in stores on July 1.
