Death Row Records founder Suge Knight is still taking care of business from behind bars, as he recently paid off $30,000 in taxes to the State of California.

According to TMZ, Knight was issued two tax liens that he paid back in August: one for $18,340.37 from 2011, and the second for $11,764.92 from 2012.

The former music mogul is still incarcerated and awaiting trial for the death of Terry Carter in an alleged hit-and-run accident that also injured a second man, Cle “Bone” Sloan, on set of the N.W.A. “Straight Outta Compton” biopic. Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were cleared by a judge on last week of any wrong doing in the death of Carter.

Suge is still facing a trial for Carter’s death.
