The statewide burn ban has now been lifted, effective Tuesday, July 16, at 12:00pm.

Effective as of 6:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, the entire state of Louisiana is under a burn ban due to the extremely dry conditions within the state.

As the temperatures soar, burn bans are issued throughout the area to keep residents safe during the extreme heat. See if your area is included in the ban here.
