Your chance to properly dispose of those unwanted prescription drugs is Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 10 am - 2 pm, at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

There will be a "Drug Take Back" on Sat., April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Charles Civic Center, to allow safe disposal of unwanted prescription drugs.

Operation 27 was a combined effort by the Louisiana State Police, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, the Lake Charles Police Department, Homeland Security, The Drug Enforcement Agency and the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office. The arrest total stands at 24 now with more coming. We have a list of those who were busted for you.
