Happy Juneteenth weekend!  Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration in the nation and signifies the end of slavery in the United States.

Moody Gardens, Galveston is the place to go this summer.  Best of all, the entire family can eat, sleep, swim, play, dance, spend the day at the spa or take in a round of golf in one location.

My daughter loves Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas.  There's so much to see and do from the discovery pyramid to the aquarium to the rainforest pyramid.  However this time of year, it's all about the Festival Of Lights.
