The IRS is about to dig into rapper Rick Ross’s pockets, as they claim he owes over $5 million in taxes.

This morning, Lauryn Hill checked into a Danbury, CT, federal prison to begin her 90 day prison sentence for tax evasion.

Unfortunately, Lauryn Hill has been in the news lately about her ongoing tax issues with the IRS.  Long story short, the 37-year old songstress will have to turn herself in on July 8th to serve a 3 month prison sentence for tax evasion.

Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three month in prison for failure to pay her taxes.

There are still a few weeks left to file your 2012 tax return, but April 15 of this year marks another important deadline for taxpayers: it's your last chance to file for a refund on your 2009 taxes.
