Oh, it's on now!  It's Essence Music Fest time people.  In case you didn't know the Essence Music Festival is sponsored by Essence and is THE largest event celebrating African American culture and music in the United States.  It's been held in New Orleans every year since 1995, except for 2006 where it was held in Houston due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
