Move over, Thanos – Bushmaster is here. Harlem’s newest menace makes his presence known, as Marvel’s Luke Cage officially busts out its first trailer. And if Cage weren’t ceding the spotlight enough, Misty Knight is armed and ready to take it.

The Defenders certainly took a toll on Misty Knight, but our second “Daughter of the Dragon” will be armed and dangerous in time for Luke Cage Season 2. Our first photo of the new season sees a moment comic fans have been waiting for, simultaneously raising some Marvel-ous questions.

The Defenders only had so long to rest up after production, as Jessica Jones immediately returned to work for a long-overdue second season. Less clear was when Daredevil Season 3 or Luke Cage Season 2 might shoot, but mounting evidence suggests that the latter is headed back to Harlem soon, and with a new villain in tow.

Marvel’s Netflix schedule made it difficult to discern when additional seasons of the four (now five) heroes would debut, but it seems Luke Cage’s work is far from over. After The Defenders, Harlem’s hero for hire will officially be back for Season 2.
