Tamar Braxton burst on the scene around '96 under the guidance of her big sister, Toni Braxton, where she had the chance to really see what it was like to be on stage. She initially started with her sisters for the group The Braxtons before embarking on a solo career and really working her own craft.

Now, the word comes that she will no longer be singing, but will focus on working behind the scenes. She stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about the new album, her marriage, and the upcoming tour with Xscape and Monica.

I have been following Tamar Braxton since she began her solo career, and I have to admit that the new album, Bluebird of Happiness, is probably one of her best pieces of work. It should definitely be on your playlist if you want to get the mood right.
