This past summer, 18-year-old Zemarcuis Scott unofficially certified his status as one of Famous Dex's biggest fans. Unfortunately, though, the way he went about earning that title involved trying to steal a plane to see one of the Chicago rapper's concerts.

According to the Daily Mail, the Arkansas native has just pleaded guilty to attempted theft of property and commercial burglary after trying to steal a commercial jet at Texarkana Regional Airport and fly it to Dex's Chicago concert on July 4, 2018. The site reports that Scott believed he could operate the plane by simply pressing a combination of the different buttons and pulling a few levers.

At the time of his attempted theft, Scott, who apparently told authorities that he'd been thinking about stealing a plane for a month beforehand, had jumped a fence and made his way all the way into the pilot's cockpit for the 44-seat plane before police apprehended him. Now, he must pay a $1,000 fine and, if the probation department prescribes it, he's got to take on some mental health treatment.
