The Office of Motor Vehicles Reopens Today

Today, the Office of Motor Vehicles will resume their services. This will include providing limited office services at eleven of their locations across Louisiana. The limited services will include insurance/renewal of drivers licenses and identification cards. This also includes ordering a duplicate title, renewing vehicle registrations, and title transfers.

Customers are urged to continue utilizing the OMV website www.expresslane.org for available online services including items mentioned above. Customers are also encouraged to check their drivers license status by visiting www.expresslane.org regarding flags, blocks, suspensions or disqualifications.

The limited services will begin a phased approach at the following locations:

• Alexandria
• Livingston
• Baton Rouge-Independence Blvd
• Mandeville
• Harvey
• Monroe
• Houma
• New Orleans- Veterans Hwy
• Lafayette
• Shreveport
• Lake Charles

Facial coverings (provided by customers) and social distancing are strongly encouraged at all locations. The offices are complying with the 25% occupancy capacity during phase one of all Louisiana business openings.
