Things to Do This Weekend in SWLA
A little rain here and there is expected for the SWLA area as we get ready for "False Fall", but that's really never stopped us from having a good time. Here are just a few things going on in the area for you to check out, including things for the kids as well!
Friday, September 9 -
Westlake Rams Post Game Party at The Max in Westlake - Head to The Max in Westlake after the Rams' game to enjoy Jambalaya and live music by Johnny Jimenez. There will be a $10 cover charge, but all ages are welcome.
Panorama Music House - The Tugboats will be on stage for some live entertainment beginning at 9pm
Rikenjaks Lake Charles- River Katz live beginning at 9pm
Paul's Ribshack - Brianna Lanete 6pm
Golden Nugget Lake Charles - John Anderson live. Tickets still available. Doors at 730, show at 830
Hokus Pokus Lake Charles - Wine Day, free wine tasting from 5p-7p
Crying Eagle Brewing - Ethan Hunt and Andre Bertrand at 7pm
Saturday, September 10 -
Emergency Responders Appreciation Day - Lake Charles Civic Center, all ages welcome. 5k run at 630am, Ceremony to Honor all First Responders at 930am, Gator live broadcast from 9a-11a, Food, Drinks, Games for all ages beginning at 1030am. Various First Responder vehicles will be on display including a helicopter! Free admission
Moss Bluff Farmers Market - Moss Bluff Lil Bit of this and That Market parking lot on Sam Houston Jones Parkway. Begins at 8am
Patriot Day at Cowboy Harley in Beaumont - Commemorative ceremony begins at 11am. Featuring live music by Larry Tillery. Guest speaker Judge Templeton. Patriot Day pins for the first 100 people to arrive.
Paul's Ribshack - Lost Riders live in the backyard at 6pm
Rikenjaks Lake Charles - John Guidroz live beginning at 630pm
L'Auberge Casino Lake Charles - Clint Black, tickets still available, Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm
