My girls and I are always looking for something different to do, but there haven't always been a lot of options here in Lake Charles. Of course, over the last year, we haven't been able to do anything other than make hurricane repairs and avoid one another due to the pandemic.

Now that things are starting to reopen and COVID restrictions are being lifted, people are going to be looking for things to do. I got something for you one to put on your to-do list, especially if you're like my crew and like to associate eating with everything you do.

Learn how to make pasta! We haven't tried it yet, but we will. There's a new business called the Pasta Lab at 1301 East McNeese and in addition to selling all kinds of pasta and accessories, they actually teach classes on how to make this delicious food.

They're open from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Check them out and try something new in the Lake Area this summer.
