What The Average Guy Is Thinking

OK, so I got this book by way of the author himself, Donald Thomas Jr. of Southern Touch Entertainment.  The last time I seen D.T. he said he was working on a book and it would be coming out soon.

Finally, his masterpiece has arrived and he stopped by the station to bring me a specially sign copy.  Thank Donald, I appreciate it too.

Anyway, when he first told me about the book, I asked him straight up "Are you kinda biting off Steve Harvey's idea just a taste?"  He said, "Absolutely not!  I know about his book, but I haven't even read it yet.  Besides, Steve hasn't been an "average" guy in a while.  He doesn't have "average" money, so he doesn't have deal with "average" guy money issues.  The "average" guy is worried about how he's gonna pay his bills, keep the car running, pay child support, the rent, baby mama drama etc.  So, not trying to take anything from Steve Harvey, but I wanted to write a book based on life as it's experienced by the "average" guy such as myself."

I actually, thought it was a mature, yet interesting response.  After all, he did have a point in regard to the fact that Steve Harvey...is definitely not average.  So, I was intrigued to see what ol' D.T. had to say.  As it turns out, he had a lot to say.  I'm not through just yet, but so far so good.  In fact I highly recommend that you pick it up.  NOW!  It's really, really good.  It's an easy read and extremely interesting.

If you ever wanted to know "What The Average Guy Is Thinking", here's your chance.  Your gonna find it hard to put it down.  Well done Donald!
