It's been over a year since XXXTentacion was tragically killed but his spirit lives on through his music. Following the release of the deluxe edition of his ? album next month, the rapper's estate plans on releasing the highly-anticipated Bad Vibes Forever album, which will include features from some big names in the industry including Lil Wayne, Lil Nas X, Blink-182 and more.

XXX’s manager, Sounds Music Group CEO Solomon Sobande, along with Empire Vice President Nima Etminan, recently opened up about putting the forthcoming release together with Billboard on Thursday (Aug. 22) and offered insight into the thought process.

"A lot of records, like 'School Shooter' featuring Lil Wayne or 'Hearteater,' Jahseh saved for this point in his career when he was more established, so they would be better received," Sobande revealed. "A lot of things he had worked on, almost complete ideas, weren’t finished maybe [they] only had one verse and a hook or only a beat. To fill out those songs, a who’s who of the music industry came out to help us."

That list also includes Tory Lanez, Mavado, Ky-Mani Marley, Stefflon Don, Vybz Kartel and more. Beats-wise, most of the album was put together by XXX's go-to producer John Cunningham. DJ Carnage and JonFX have also contributed.

"There’s a country song featuring Lil Nas X. One of the most surprising is Blink-182 one of Jah’s favorite bands," Sobande added.

BVF is expected to drop this fall. XXX spoke about the album in 2017 before his untimely death, telling fans, "It will be a mix of genres you have seen me dabble with, if you are not a fan of me this is not an album for you, it is for core fans only."

XXX's debut album 17 was released exactly two years ago.
