Today in Tha Wire there's no doubt that our nation is truly at a pivotal moment in time.  We may even make history AGAIN, as President Barack's second and final term comes to an end.  Soon we will elect a new president and in case you haven't noticed, the stakes could never be higher.   Matter of fact let me take this time to remind every one of you to get out and vote in the upcoming Presidential Election on November 8, 2016.  Better yet vote early.  Early voting is October 25 through November 1, 2016.

As the countdown to Election Day 2016 draws near, a new five-part docu-series following several hi-profile celebrities is going to premier on the EPIX network.  The series is called, America Divided, and according to reports it'll be centered around each celebs personal experiences with inequality in this country.  The show will also take a look our nations inequality in areas of education, healthcare, housing, labor, political and criminal justice system.

Rapper/actor Common will serve an executive producer for the program along with legendary producer, Norman Lear (The Jeffersons, Good Times), as well as Shonda Rhimes (Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder), and others.  This is going to an eye opener as camera's follow Common back to Chi-Town to examine policing and mass incarceration, Rosario Dawson who travels to Flint to explore the epic water crisis, while Jesse Williams covers the school-to-prison pipeline.
