Congratulations to Conner Williams, the Don's Automotive Athlete of The Week! Conner is a senior at Saint Louis Catholic High School, and was nominated by Nicole Williams.

Conner is not only a well-rounded student, but a triple threat when it comes to athletics. He plays on three varsity teams for the Saints, including football, soccer, and track & field. His stats are quite impressive, too.

In Football, so far Conner averages 66.3 yards a game, 17.7 yards per receptions, 265 yards receiving, at least two touchdowns, and roughly 15 catches. I think it's safe to say that his team is going to miss him when he graduates.

Conner is a two-time state champion in Soccer! He's been playing with SLCHS for three years. Of the three, he helped the Saints soccer club win two championships! With this being his last year, hopefully he can get another big win before he graduates.

Conner is also extremely fast, which explains why he runs for the Saints relay track team. This year, he was even invited to play for the state of Louisiana in the 2018 Down Under Bowl in beautiful Australia.

Academically, he's an excellent student with tons of accolades. He carries a 3.78 GPA, has an I.Q. of 122, and scored a 22 on his A.C.T. Through these achievements, he became a member of the National Honor Society. In addition, Conner is an Ambassador for SLCHS, serves the Lord on and off the field, participates in several local community service programs, and is an active member of teen ACTS.

It's with a resume like this, it's obvious why Conner Williams was selected as our latest Athlete of the Week. We certainly wish him the best going forward. Speaking of which, he's planning to major in engineering or sports medicine. His future is looking very bright. For now, he's thinking about attending Northwestern, Tulane, Louisiana College, or staying here at home to go to McNeese.

Congratulations, Conner!
