AllHipHop reports a Philadelphia beer company announced it's naming their newest brew after rap pioneers The Wu-Tang Clan.  The Dock Street Brewery in Philly has decided to name their newest creation Wu-Tang twist.

Dock Street's head brewer, Vince Desrosiers, told Philadephia Magazine the brewery’s upcoming golden saison beer will age with music by Wu-Tang playing alongside the barrel for the next six months.  An the slogan for the new Wu beer is pretty catchy, "Dock Street Beer Ain’t Nuthin’ to Funk With.”

Desrosiers said, “I listen to music every day in the brewery and I’ve wanted to do a series of beers based on the music I like."  He added, “It’s hardly an original thought but my musical taste is all over the place and Wu-Tang seemed like a great place to start.”

FYI, the beer will have a orange-tart and spicy pineapple flavor to it.  So be on the lookout, the “Dock Street Beer Ain’t Nuthin’ to Funk With” beer will be released before the end of the year.  By the way, Desrosiers said more hip-hop-inspired brew is on the way.

Finally Forbes Magazine says 50 Cent is worth $155 million, which helped him claim the #4 slot in this years top five Wealthiest Hip Hop Artists.  Fif is still reaping the benefits of his $100 million sale of Vitaminwater to Coca Cola in 2007.  The rap mogul has proven himself to be quite the businessman over the years, with various other deals like Effen Vodka.  Not to mention his designer Frigo underwear partnership with MLB great Derek Jeter, NBA baller Carmello Anthony and Tempur-Pedic mattress creator Mathias Ingvarsson.  This brotha is accustomed to winning.

On the flip-side, according to TMZ 50 Cent’s boxing company, SMS Promotions, isn't doing so good.  As a matter of fact, he filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy earlier this week on May 25.

Launched in 2012, 50's managed to sign a few notable names in the boxing world including Olympic Medalist Andre Dirrell.  SMS Promotions also held a boxing match two weeks ago in Connecticut.  Despite that success, the company has incurred some $500,000 in dept according to court docs.  Once he gets the money right, Fif's attorney says he plans to rebuild and reorganize the company.

Meanwhile, the G-Unit General still has a lot of reasons to smile.  50 Cent is not only the producer, but has a recurring role in the hit TV drama Power and on June 6, the second season returns to Starz.
