As if five Grammy’s weren't enough to sweeten someones year, Kendrick Lamar’s critically-acclaimed album To Pimp a Butterfly has reportedly seen a 411% sales increase since his 2016 Grammy performance, according to AllHipHop.

When your Platinum and Gold album wins the "Best Rap Album" of the year courtesy of the 58th annual Grammy Awards, one’s interest has to peak. For all of those people who had no idea K. Dot was such a class act, a boost in sales from his acclaimed performance at the Grammys in Los Angeles followed. To Pimp a Butterfly moved 25,000 copies, again making it the highest selling rap album of the week.

To Pimp a Butterfly moved 324,000 units in it’s initial release back in March 2015, and topped the Billboard charts for several weeks. It’s no surprise the Compton native is experiencing such a great start in 2016.
