It's homecoming week for the McNeese Cowboys which means a lot of events are going on.  Tonight is the annual McNeese Cowboys Homecoming parade in Lake Charles complete with Marching Bands,Cheerleaders and football team throwing stuff out to fans down the parade route. The McNeese Cowboys homecoming game will be Saturday October 22nd against Sam Houston at Cowboys Stadium at 7pm. The McNeese Cowboys stopped a 2 point conversion from Northwestern State to win 20-18 Saturday night.  The Cowboys are now 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in Southland Conference play. Now get ready Cowboy fans because McNeese will now get set for a showdown with now Division 1-A Texas State this Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium.

The McNeese Cowboys are slowly but surely moving up in the rankings after there decisive victory over Southeastern Louisiana Saturday. The Cowboys will take there 2-1 record on the road this week to take on Northwestern. Here is the complete polls:
